Speaking and workshops
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), educator, advocate, and survivor, I speak from both personal experience and professional practice. I’ve spent over a decade in the field—providing therapy, facilitating community programs, and shaping conversations around survivor-centered care.
I’m passionate about providing engaging, educational workshops designed to inform, empower, and support individuals, professionals, and communities impacted by sexual violence, intimate partner violence, and systemic trauma. I aim to create safe, transformative spaces for reflection, growth, and action.

Whether you’re looking for a one-time presentation, a community training, or a professional development series, each session is designed to be engaging, collaborative, and deeply rooted in real-world experience.
Sexual assault is definitely an awkward topic and you’re right when you said it isn’t discussed as much as it should be. Talking about sexual assault really brings it to reality. Although some may feel that an assault on this level would be completely negative, you’ve taken your experience and are now helping others that may face the same situations you did.

Two years ago I battled with depression and like you I didn’t want to ask for help. I thought it would just go away on its own. I realize now that asking for help doesn’t make me weak. It makes me human.

Not to be cheesy, but your presentation was inspirational. Please continue this, you really are making a huge difference, not just for victims, but for those bystanders who need to learn how to take a stand.

I loved how friendly and honest she was about what happened to her. I felt very connected with her and her story from the beginning.

Thank you for sharing your very personal story. For making it relevant to our kids. For making a difficult and uncomfortable topic an accessible topic. For being real. For being genuine. For being honest. For being PASSIONATE. We are better people for the time we’ve spent with you.

I was a rape victim and just hearing you talk how it wasn’t my fault was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.

I appreciate everything you have told us because it is possible. Anytime, anywhere. I’m going to college far away and I feel very susceptible to this because I won’t feel safe anywhere. But because you have informed me I know how to be cautious or look for things like that. I want to make you and every other survivor a promise. I promise to look out for all others and share your story and advice to whoever I can so that more young women and men are aware and will hopefully save more lives.

I’ve been through an experience like ones you talk about and my story was brushed off even from my parents. I’ve repressed dealing with it and I’ve become very scared of contact with anyone. Thank you for being the first person to support me.

I like how instead of just telling her story she educated us on what to do in those types of situations and how to respond.

I learned that I am truly not alone & I shouldn’t be afraid to seek counseling for what happened to me so many years ago.

So powerful. Thank you so much. I learned that there is always the opportunity to heal and find strength again.

Thank you for giving us your time and for teaching me some very important life lessons. I learned more about respecting the boundaries of others and that asking for help doesn’t make me weak. I discovered a lot more about myself because of you and I feel like you gave me tools to better improve the person I am.

I learned that my voice matters and to speak up.
